Lessons
-
ISR swim instruction is for children 6 months to about 6 years
-
Lessons are conducted 5 days a week (Monday through Friday)
-
At a maximum of 10 minutes a day
-
Sessions typically last approximately 6-8 weeks
-
Each child has their own lesson time daily
-
Every lesson consists of one one-on-one instruction tailored to the individual student
Statistics indicate that most children who fall into water are fully clothed. Therefore, once the children are fully skilled they will practice their ISR skills fully clothed.
"We’ve been to the pool a handful of times since our lessons ended and the girls have been doing a fantastic job using their new skills! What a difference Lacey's instruction has made, with their competence and confidence. I’m truly grateful!"

1-6 Years
Lessons for children 1-6 years old focus on teaching the swim-float-swim survival sequence. Children learn to swim with their head down; roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe; and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the side of the pool, where they can either crawl out or until they can be rescued.
Refresher Lessons
Refresher lessons are extremely important in continuing and maintaining your child's ISR Self-Rescue® skill development. Children grow and develop rapidly from infants to toddlers and young children. This development process represents improved strength, coordination, and a more finely tuned cognitive ability. In accordance with this growth, children enrolled in ISR return periodically to participate in Refresher Lessons.
Give your child the competence, confidence and skills of aquatic safety with Infant Swimming Resource's Self-Rescue® program. The safest provider of survival swimming lessons for children 6 months to 6 years of age!
“Miss Lacey has changed our lives forever! She has helped turn a very afraid timid little boy into a confident boy who now loves to swim! When my son was 4 years old, he had a drowning incident that happened at the lake. Thankfully I was watching and dove in to save him. We did not know that the ramp into the lake had a deep drop off. After that incident, my son had such a huge fear of the water that we could not even get his face wet. After just two weeks of ISR with Miss Lacey, my son is now jumping in the deep end, swimming, back floating, and doing strokes. Words literally can not express how amazing she is and how talented she is as a teacher! This program not only has helped both of my boys with safety, but it has helped both of them to feel confident in the water. We love Miss Lacey and we are forever grateful! My son now said that when he grows up, he wants to be an IRS instructor. This dream and love for the water is all due to Miss Lacey! Thank you thank you!
